ABOUT US
Our purpose is to provide an educational, inspirational, and safe surf experience for all levels of surfers. We provide core surfing fundamentals such as water safety, wave selection, paddling, and catching waves. We teach adults and kids alike, and we LOVE working with families! It’s our mission to have each student leave our session with a new found confidence and respect for the ocean. We offer 5-day summer kids classes, after school classes, private & semi-private lessons, and small group classes, seven days a week from dawn patrol to sunset between towers 14 and 22 in Huntington Beach! We are permitted by the City of Huntington Beach to instruct lessons year-round and all of our instructors are CPR certified.
We believe children should learn at their own pace in a fun, interactive, joyful atmosphere. Seashore students are placed in groups by ability, not age. Want to customize your child’s education? LITTLE SURF CO.
In addition to surfing all morning, students will participate in enrichment activities which consist of attaining ocean and safety certifications, growing their understanding of the ocean by learning from our Ocean Education Speakers, learning about proper health and nutrition, and building their strength, endurance, agility, core, and mental discipline through conditioning and circuit training.
Seashore Academy
Students may choose to complete the academic portion of their day in the afternoon at our partner programs, Seashore Academy for grades TK through 8, and at OC Entrepreneur Academy for grades 9-12.
In their Independent Study Program, they will turn their focus to their core academics — English Language Arts, History, Math, and Science. In addition, students will take part in specialty enrichment classes daily, which include: Public Speaking, Financial Management, World Art Masters, STEM, and Chess/Lego Construction.
Students will also have the option to take after-school classes for an additional fee: Robotics, Spanish, American Sign Language, and Crafting.
